Refusing To Be Pawns In The Game

For far too long, black people have been Pawns in the Game.

Nick Cannon, Steph Curry, and several others as of late have been openly refusing to be pawns in the game. That is, perhaps the best description of our predicament in this society as black people. Once again, we address these topics head on hear on this platform, and thank you for dropping in. This conversation does not 'really' require you to fully understand the game of chess, however that would help! That way, when I am talking about pawns in the game it won't be a foreign concept to you.

Pawns have limited 'powers' in the game of chess. In fact, as far as game board pieces go, the pawn is one of the least powerful, across all spectrum.  Whether we are talking about chess or Monopoly, pawns in the game are not the piece you'd aspire to be, if you could decide!

refuse to be pawns in the game

Now that I've covered that 'brief summary' of how low this game board piece ranks we can get INTO the meat!  It's important to come to cope with the fact that black people have been used As pawns in the game of capitalism for quite some time.  We are absolutely in a 'real life Monopoly game' where some people are born, with a clear advantage over others. Monopoly isn't Chess though. Both games have so many lessons for us to grasp though. That's one of the main reasons that this awesome production Why Poverty Park Avenue is playing at The Black Folder.

This shows how the oppression of the black community has created poverty - which also creates wealth for the oppressors.

The game, that so many of us are 'born into' ... this Matrix aka the Prison for our Minds, is already well in motion by the time you and I were born.  Several games have been played. There have been several matches. So many seasons have gone by. Most of us are coming in to this after so much has already been done. So, it's important not to be too emotional about the fact that we (the black community) are pawns in the game. That's the role we've been 'allowed' to play, for so long, and truly the entire 'Civil Rights Movement' was all about allowing us more access! It was a plea, a cry, from black leaders to allow black people, to simply live. It's sad that this was even the case, but it was. It is a reality that others often try to overlook. They dismiss the damage this did, and continues to do. In spite of it all, we the black community, are left to deal with it.

Take a moment to understand what was stated here - Black Economics with Malcolm X - (How Much Has Changed?)

50 years ago, Malcolm spoke to us specifically, about how we are Pawns in the game. Economically and Politically as well, because we refuse to stick together. Let me repeat that. We refuse to stick together. Even within the MLM Space, that we specialize in. While working in this space, I have unfortunately met far too many black business people, who don't want to do business solely with black people. I don't either. However, I do believe that an Aspect of my business dealings SHOULD focus ON black business people working TOGETHER to benefit one another.

If we don't, then how will we ever succeed?

How will black people ever truly RISE out of the position we've been PUT in, if we don't change 'how we move' on the board?

We need to quit moving 'as pawns', and begin to educate ourselves about OTHER pieces on the board. We need to move like Bishops, like Knights, Like Rooks ; Like Kings and Queens.

But that's a discussion for another time; and also is a conversation we've been having with you for quite some time.

Get started with our Team today!  Start using the 1mlmsystem to build a team Build an income and set a foundation for a solid financial future.

Starting out as Pawns in the Game does not mean we have to remain pawns in the game. We are starting to see that with these examples from Nick Cannon, Steph Curry and others. Steph Curry spoke out about Under Armour's support of the current Presidential administration, and using HIS platform people started to impact the pocketbook of Under Armour. More recently, Nick Cannon told a joke in a stand up show, that NBC (His boss for America's Got Talent) didn't like. They made threats for him to retract the joke, but Nick decided to stick by his principles. He decided that it's okay if NBC decides to cast him aside, he will fall back on the network he has built, with others in his industry network.

He realized, there's no need for him to continue be used, as pawns in the game. You need to realize that too!

The Black Leadership Council

Saw a post on social media that sparked a conversation, about The Black Leadership Council.

I actually came up with that name, but not this concept. I can't even take full credit for the 'people' selected to at least, get us started. Organization Matters so much especially in times like these. Some of my favorite 'sayings' on the internet include that we are an unorganized truth fighting an organized lie. That's exactly why the initial image I saw was inspirational, at first.

The names included Professor Griff, Dr. Boyce Watkins, Tariq Nasheed, Dr. Umar Johnson & Brother Polight.

Now is the time for #unity

A photo posted by @kingsteamceo on

If these names are unfamiliar with you, then you are probably not 'following' the conscious community right now. You're also not watching the archive of videos at #TheBlackFolder as Dr. Boyce Watkins is featured on quite a few. (Black Choices & Wealthy Agendas) These are a good start, as the original image suggested. I still remember something that Magic Johnson said at one of Tavis Smiley's 'State of the Black Union' meetings. He said we have too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

A black leadership council makes much more sense.

Due to all the things we have been through as a people, it's unrealistic to expect all of us to 'follow' One person. Especially since we do indeed, have so many chiefs. We have so many people that want to be that NEXT black leader to uplift the community, that unfortunately at times they bump heads. That in my estimation explains some of the 'beef' that broke out between Dr. Umar Johnson and Dr. Boyce Watkins earlier in the year, over comments made about the all boys school Johnson's been talking about building.

All of that aside, several of these men are controversial in the views that they have. While the purpose of the black leadership council would be to bring us all together. We are divided enough as it is, already. So while the first list of suggestions are indeed, a 'great start' ... what about this list?

The Black Leadership Council

If YOU have other suggestions, feel free to leave them in the Comments below.

OR simply use Hashtag #TheBlackLeadershipCouncil on IG or Twitter; we'll do an update in the future if people decide to nominate their own, Black Leadership Council members. Imagine, if they were able to work together what a message that would send to the rest of us, about how important for us to be working together.

Networking For Black People

Networking for Black People by TNG

I was watching a Documentary (Streets of Compton) where a brotha (named Wacko) who admitted to playing a major role in distributing drugs; was now using those skills to run legitimate businesses. The 'distribution network' is the same concept; Yea someone is going to always be 'at the top' of that game; but the generals live well too; and depending on how tight and how loyal the network moves together; the better everyone involved lives;

For centuries; we as black people were 'kept from' tapping into legitimate networks with monetary barriers; we'd all own a Subway Franchise, a Five Guys, A McDonalds, a Chipotle, a Jersey Mike's, if we all had Franchise Owner Money - but that's what I've always 'loved' about the network marketing model. It's Franchise-like Opportunity without franchise-size Investment.

Instead of moving products that the 'enemy of our people' have deemed illegal; for the purpose of targeting us for their Prison Industrial Complex - we can Instead Move Solar Power; For example --- People are getting it; and you could play a major role in helping homes in your City and surrounding neighborhoods get Solar Power In their Homes --- you can even get paid in other areas of the nation, by using 'social media' to find people who are looking for what you have. Together we can make money selling Websites; Teaching one another Internet Marketing Skills; Teaching one another Blogging - and using those skills - again - to distribute products, information, services - or whatever we'd like.

And we can keep it all legal too.

Networking For Black People - Wacko former Piru member
Former Piru leader talks about how networking for black people is a legal alternative to the lifestyle so many inner city youth are caught in

It's what we call ... a God Send (when God sends something) - problem is; Far too many of my people have a poor concept of God; which 'to be real with it' - stems from Our slave culture; where a different 'understanding' of God was forced upon us; by a people who Also, do not understand nor appreciate God - again; To be real with it....

I watched a video today where 2 white girls were 'hanging out' with their Indian Friend Saraa; Or as the white girl described it; her two friends - One 'regular one' and the other was 'Indian' ... and they sat there and Grilled her on her Hindu beliefs; telling her she was going to Hell; and if she did not convert to Christianity - aka The Right religion - that it was the wrong decision and they maybe, couldn't be friends ......... I was blown away watching it because of how rude, and ignorant it was; but also how hateful; and not only that - how entitled it was. the idea that 'their God is better' --- is a misunderstanding of God.

God is here for all. Not some.

But I didn't intend to preach so I'm not getting into that - Just that a lot of people have a misunderstanding; and aren't really Seeking understanding; but are instead just putting on a show; performing a ritual; Fitting In to a Social Circle (a big one) - for the sake of appearances; and yet those who "truly" understand God, realize that He allows all things to happen; EVEN and Especially The bad; because the BAD is actually what moves the GOOD into action.

Which brings me back to Networking for black people ....

I was first introduced to mlm in 1999 - and want to give a Special Salute to all of the Black Men and Women who set the example for me; Long before I entered the playing field; and who've done an excellent job in representing 'what is possible for us' - through this FORM OF business ----- The reality is; You can still do your own thing; you can sell real Estate; Invest in stocks; You can sell products online directly to consumers; and we can still Partner up and create Networks to distribute even more products than we could 'on our own' ---- and they can't Burn Down Our Buildings this time .............

The Black Folder was put together to promote Networking for black people. This is not to say we don't want to network with others however, we do need to place emphasis on building our selves up. Others are more than welcome to participate but, most won't want to.  Generally others are seeking to 'get paid' from our efforts rather than contributing to our incomes. They, historically seek to benefit from us, rather than benefit with us. This is why networking for black people needs to become a focus of ours. We need to think about how we can enrich one another.

I promise you no one else is considering that.

In fact many are still plotting against us. We have to build ourselves up again; and make one another strong!

MLM Business Model For Black People

You already know by now that I'm an advocate of the MLM business model for Black People.

The MLM business model basically says you can go out and Get 1 million customers for a product or service by yourself, or you can invite a handful of people to go out and get those customers together. Together you can all get a handful of customers, and together you can all get a piece of what those 1 million customers are spending each and every single month. That's the beauty of the MLM Business model, you really and truly are in business for yourself but not by yourself.

Unless of course, you're involved with other people who are not focused on the same goal as you.

When it comes to black people, it is obvious that a solution to so many economic problems facing them would be addressed through group economics. However, this requires developing a certain mentality. We would have to want to work together, and help each other.

Some of the left over habits from slavery however, include a sense of strong individualism. It includes not being able to rely on, or trust each other. Over several generations we have come to be a certain kind of people, with very similar ideas. These ideas however, are not the kinds of ideas that will help any of us make the kind of money most of us hope to make. The white system of supremacy was not created with our benefit in mind. While some of us will be able to go to school, and get good jobs, this will not be (and has not been) the reality for most of us.

So WE must be open to alternative ways of earning money....

We also need to think long and hard, about future generations to come.

We need to start putting things in place now, that are patterned after better ideas, now.

So that in the future, our offspring can truly have it better than we - which brings me back, to the MLM business model.

Because, we all know that these are just the highlights on the long list of 'what needs to be done' - but the main question that continues to be asked is, 'how'?

Many people have answers to that question, and what ends up happening is, we debate and debate and debate.

Now is Not the time for debate.

Now is the time, for Action!

For those who do not believe in the MLM business model, that is fine. You can sit on the sidelines and not participate. All we ask is that you do not talk against your brothers and sisters who Are using this model as a way to gather and pool resources together.

What we have decided to do, is take the model itself and apply it to TopNetworkersGroup. We then built a system, that we call the One MLM System @ 1mlmsystem.com - to bring all of our ideas under one roof, along with several programs which operate IN the MLM industry. We will be that marketing arm that goes out and gets customers for various companies who, will in turn pay us a piece of what our customers spend each month. As we grow, If we stick together, we can demand higher compensation for our efforts and be positioned with the leverage to have our requests met.

That being said, most black people are not going to stick around long enough to see this happen. Sadly, too many of our people do have a negative outlook on life, and do not believe that anything like this is possible. That lack of belief, that doubt, usually stops us before we can begin.

However, if you're unlike most black people, you could be positioned as one of the Leaders of our organization, as we GROW into a real force within the MLM Industry.

Be sure to Review some of the conversations we're hosting at The Black Folder - and get started with our team as soon as you review everything we have to offer, both now - and into the future.

Racism in MLM and Our Approach

I watched this video with Larry Wilmore exposing Fox News for more obvious racism - and one of the methods they use is once again on full display. I'll let you watch the video first; but then I'm going to talk about Racism in MLM.

Fox news often carts out a black face, to say things that racist white people want to say; but know they cannot get away with saying.

It's sad, but the black community in America has been pushed so far down, that offering a few dollars is enough to make several black people TURN on their own people.

For the LOVE of MONEY is the root of all evil ..........

When people love MONEY more than doing right; more than speaking truth; more than Standing Up for Justice - That is Pure Evil.

When I look around at the MLM Industry I'm in; I notice almost NO 'black leaders' speak out on these issues; They do not want to upset the white people who are in business with them; They do not want to make non-blacks mad and possibly lose some money.

Make sure you're following real leaders - especially if you're Black and in MLM.

I've said it several times; will say it again; LOTS of non-black people do NOT want to work with black MLM's - if a MLM has too many blacks in it, and if there are too many at the top; Notice how there seems to be NO diversity --

Because Racism is so horrible that it Seeps into everything we do as a society; EVEN and Especially MLM.

In a great book, that YOU need to read - by Dr. Charles King called "the New Professionals" - Race is brought up; and it is pointed out, that companies who's leadership is diverse will always do better than companies that are Not.

Diverse companies have the most appeal to the broadest range of people.

This is why several Black Leaders get approached by mostly White companies; and are offered Money to bring 'some color' to those companies. I've been offered money before; I know several others who've been offered money; and even those who Took money - but there is always a PRICE you pay when you take someone else's money.

They own you.

I didn't get into MLM to be a slave.

--- Freedom feels so much better.

But sometimes we must FIGHT for the freedom we want -

A couple of points I make frequently.

Corporate America has invaded MLM - and rather than lead the industry, most Leaders in our industry are Slaves.

They've been muzzled. They cannot talk about issues that matter because they could get terminated - and lose their income.

They have not set themselves up to sustain the ups and downs of MLM - or the whims of MLM Company owners.

THEY should be listening to TopNetworkersGroup and approaching MLM our way; Our way is better.

No MLM Company can tell us to pull down The Black Folder

No MLM Company can tell us not to talk about real issues on our Social networks; On this team you're encouraged to do so.

No MLM Company can tell us NOT to engage in Multiple Streams of Income - besides; we do it by the book.

We are Free - and yet we are within a system that is still controlled by people who have more money, more power and more influence than we have at this point in time. Many of the people who are 'against us' know the power of Our approach. They know how many people we will FREE - so they talk against it; just like Fox News talks against anything that may IMPROVE This world for more than just a 'few' - While it's possible for our money, power and influence to grow - for now we all must do, what we must do - until that day arrives - when we Can bring more people to our side of the fence.

And Until that time .... I will continue to speak out for justice.

Because I am free.

Economic Empowerment Through MLM

Let's talk about Economic Empowerment through MLM.

I was walking around the campus of my college when I realized why there was such a disparity in my income, my families income, the income of my friends and extended family members; even the income of other black people I met at that university. This is when I began thinking about economics and how everything in our nation is tied to the plantation.

The plantation became the corporation and today we have what are commonly known as corporate slaves.

People no longer are living their lives with a purpose - other than going to work to slave away for someone else.

Meanwhile how this ongoing 'cycle' impacts the black people of America, is played out daily on our streets. What is often lost on us is that these economic conditions that so many black people find themselves in were planned.

But these were not the fully formed thoughts in my head while walking around the campus that day. I just realized that, had my parents owned a business rather than, been employees that we'd have more money. I was beginning to understand the importance of money in this society. I was starting to see the correlation between who I wanted to date, where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do and how much money I had.

I began thinking about how to change that, for future generations of my family.

That search brought me to MLM.

I want to talk to you about economic empowerment of the black community in America through MLM.

I remember when I sat in on the first MLM presentation I ever saw in 1999. I remember thinking 3 words to myself - "THIS IS IT!" ...

I found it.

I found the way that was going to help pull my people out of economic mediocrity.

I knew people, who knew people who knew people. I could envision us building a network - distributing products and services through this network and laughing all the way to the bank! It was legal, it was going to save people money - and it had the potential to increase anyone's income if they chose to work with our team.

Then I Began talking to people.

I came to realize the mental enslavement of black people was deeper than I ever imagined.

Several told me they heard of 'those pyramid things' - and none of them work.

They told me that I should go look for a good job, like they were doing.

Black people have been socially and psychologically conditioned to keep the system in place. Most would rather look for a job and work for someone else, than discuss the possibilities of coming together, and working together to create true wealth, with one another.

The opportunity was also $499 - which presented another barrier for people; a financial barrier.

The combination of financial and mental barriers kept so many of the people I wanted to do business with, from joining my business and working with me. They weren't in the business so they didn't attend the business meetings; They didn't meet the business people I met. They didn't get to have the business experiences I experienced.

This made me understand that the real barriers to economic empowerment are truly education and environment.

Money alone, is not enough to empower black people.

1mlm-blackfolder-main2

However, if black people are given opportunities but do not get the proper education to take advantage of it, then what good is the opportunity?

That is where most of this conversation about economic empowerment hinges.

There are people who will exclaim that the opportunities are all around; but not enough people will deal directly with a HUGE flaw, that stops people in their tracks. When you live in economically suppressed areas, which most urban areas tend to be, you're around people who are not thinking like business owners.

You're usually going to be around people who think like slaves.

In order to become a FREE Thinker, which really means, to think outside of the 'box' you and others around you are thinking in - it helps to get around others who think outside boxes. The internet gives black people the power to change their environment. They can change the information that is coming into their lives on a daily basis. Instead of tuning into WorldStarHipHop - We invite you to tune into The Black Folder - part of our One MLM System to rule them all.

The black folder is where we are having a real, ongoing conversation about economic empowerment through MLM.

I believe that MLM is the perfect business model for people of color.

It removes the barriers; anyone can get involved - however to be successful with it; the time required to study and learn the craft is a must!

So, MLM brings people into an opportunity; and a good MLM company will provide training; or education - which each person has the chance to take seriously. Naturally if they hang out with people who are not in MLM; they will be discouraged.

They will get people who disempower them because that is what slaves do.

Slaves help keep other slaves on the plantation, serving the Master and keeping the cycle going.

This is why we encourage black people to Hang OUT in the black folder; and also in our Live support Office; where you can spend time around others who think the way you think; and who want the things you want.

You see, economic empowerment is only possible, when the person is mentally empowered.

Check out some of these videos, related to this topic!

"The World is the Plantation" - Jason Black

Slavery has 'changed' - and the only freedom for the black race will come from Unity; and economic empowerment.

MLM is the solution we're looking for.

Our System is the answer, to making it work for us!
